C has a really nice bus driver. This morning C got to the bus stop just as the bus arrived. I (mistakenly) asked him if he has his blue blanket (that is a 1.5 inch square, as opposed to the original 3 foot square that it was - C keeps the blue blanket in his pocket to rub during the day and only takes it out at rest time or on the bus). C did not have his blue blanket. I told the bus driver that I would drive C to school, but she was very nice and told him to run get it very quickly and meet her at the next stop, which is about 3 houses down. C did run very quickly and I ran with him to the next stop. Very nice lady, his bus driver!

J still likes the color pink. J told me this afternoon that he didn’t like our house and I told him that when he grows up, he can have his own house. J informed me that he was going to have a pink bedroom and a black kitchen, so he could use his flashlight in it. (I’m just writing this to remind him one day when he does have a house and paints it a bland beige.)
I was starting to get concerned about J’s fascination with the color pink. It is his favorite color. However, a week ago at AWANA Cubbies, Rachel brought the snack and it was mini cupcakes iced with either pink or white icing. Her son, Andrew also picked a pink cupcake. One of the other little boys in our group, Cole, wanted pink too, but there were only 2 pink iced cupcakes. I guess it is nothing to worry about…
