Major sorry!

This evening as we were getting ready to leave choir at church, C accidentally smashed J’s fingers in the room door. Obviously J started hysterically screaming/crying. His fingers on his right hand had a purple line on them where they got smashed.
C repeated about 10 times that he was very, very sorry. On the way home J was talking about his hurt fingers and C told J, “I will never ever do that again!”
Then after we got home, J was telling Daddy about his fingers and C again repeated how sorry he was another 10 or so times.
I think C felt almost as bad as J’s fingers felt! It is good that C is understanding emotions and cause/effect. Little guy is growing up!
