I’m Baaaaack!
I got home from the airport around 4 this afternoon.
B has been in CA since Sunday a week ago. He finished his work up on Wednesday and I flew to California to spend some time with him, sans boys. We went to Alcatraz, Fisherman’s Wharf to see the sea lions, and spent several days in Yosemite National Forest.
To make it to the airport for my flight home, with the suggested 2 hour early arrival, meant that I had a wake up call at 3 this morning. I’m not coherent enough to write all the fun stuff that we did Thursday-Sunday, so I’ll write probably tomorrow.
B will be home later tonight. His flight was booked separately from mine since his office booked his flight, knowing that he was tacking on some vacation at the end of his business trip.
Suffice as to say, it was a great trip. I missed the boys, they missed us, and it was wonderful to spend time alone with my beloved husband of almost 11 years. Here’s to the next 11, Sweetheart!
Also, a BIG THANK YOU to my parents and B’s parents for keeping the boys so we could honeymoon again.
