Bye Bye Spider
Posted May 29th, 2007 by Mom |
J is still potty training. “Still” meaning that when he is completely naked, he might choose to use the potty. Both boys have been caught “going” off the second story of the fort… However, he is content to use a diaper - less effort, I guess.
On Saturday, B was responsible for putting the boys to bed for rest time. Like a good Dad, he made each boy use the bathroom before putting them to rest. J sat on the potty and then after a minute decided that he didn’t have to go. Less than 5 minutes after B put a diaper on J, J called out that he was poopy. Like I said, less effort, I guess. We have got to get him potty trained before September, or he can’t go to 3 year old preschool. By darn! I WILL have him trained!!!!! Mommy needs him to go to school. I’m looking forward to going grocery shopping alone.
Just a few moments ago, J came inside saying, “I hafta go potty!” Then he wanted the light on in the half bath. When I came in there, J pointed to the bowl and said, “There’s a spider in the potty!” I looked and sure enough, there was a spider trying to climb out. Therefore, without any remorse, I flushed the toilet - spider and all. J said, “Bye, Bye spider.” I guess he doesn’t worry about the lifespan of spiders any more than I do.
