Camping Out - City Style
I was inside making cupcakes, to be decorated at baseballs, this morning. C is going to take them to pre-school tomorrow to celebrate his birthday with his friends. Every few minutes one of the boys would run inside from the backyard, retrieve something, and then run back out.
I looked out the window to see C and J in their fort with their favorite blankets (C had his purple blanket that I made and J had his blanket with the cars on it). C also had his new excavator pillow and J had his “Sally” pillow, from the movie “Cars.”
Of course I had to get the camera and record this. I tried to get pictures without them seeing me, but J saw me so I came outside to take their pictures. C said that they were going to sleep out there. (I guess they were tired, I did let them stay up late last night since Daddy wasn’t home.)
Daddy - I think it might be time for their first camp out. That’s a Daddy thing, not a Mommy thing. I will make cookies for a treat. That’s what Mommys do on tv.
After I took the pictures, J said, “Thanks for comin’ to see us, Mommy and for takin’ our pictures!”
